Current life situation (retired working, volunteering, etc.):
67 year old starting on another 10 year plan. Two businesses, both in Granada, Nicaragua; Wooden Bridge Trading (woodenbridge.net), manufacturer of high end mahogany doors/windows, and Gallo Pinto Trading, furniture, cabinetry, & millwork. Gallo Pinto has a sustainable yield forestry management plan on the Atlantic Coast in the Miskito community of Esperanza, which is the source for both companies lumber.
Family history (spouse, children, dogs, etc.) :
Single. 11 year old daughter.
Current hobbies and interests:
Sailing & diving, competent with both, and fishing where I've no competence.
Anything else you want to share:
Most of my time is now in Nicaragua, with the intention of much more time on St John, USVI, where I'd moved from Mich in 1978. Since 95 more time in Nicaragua than St John.
Education, Military Service or Training
- WMU, BA.
Salmon fishing on East Bay, Traverse City in September 2012. Always loved the area & now use Munson Hospital for medical work, which provides rationale for flying a couple thousand miles for an appendectomy.
