Name:  Cheryl Diane (Hodge) Knox

Married:  Sam Knox (’64) in 1972

Kids:  John in ’74 and Sarah in ’76.  Sarah is a Speech Pathologist, and John teaches Special Education in Utah.  No grandkids, yet!

Career:   Elementary teacher.  Retired after 32 years at age 55.  Taught for the Department of Defense in Iceland (’69-‘70) and experienced  the awesome sight of Mt. Hekla erupting that year.  Also taught in Japan (’70-’71) when the World’s Fair was there.  Came back to MSU to complete a MA and saw Sam at a party.  Married the next year and taught in Okemos for the following 29 years.  Presently live in East Lansing.

Hobbies:   Traveling, piano/organ, quilting, reading,  volunteering work reading/writing with young students
