Family history (spouse, children, dogs, etc.):

I have two children from a previous marriage, both graduated from U.S.U. and live in run businesses in Jackson, Wyoming.  Currently, my wife and I have six adopted children.  The oldest, with her husband, is about to graduate from, of all places, Utah State.  The rest are moving in that direction.

Education, Military Service or Training After ELHS:

 • After graduating from E.L.H.S, I served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Northern California (San Francisco) area.

 • I received a B.S. degree in Geology and then continued my education and completed a Master's in Fine Arts from Utah State University.

Work History (dates, company name, location, title/job function):

 • I started teaching art at Mount Logan Middle School in Logan, Utah.  Young people were exhilarating to work with so I stayed there for 36 years.

 • In August, our family is moving to Oahu, Hawaii for a year.  I'll be a service missionary, at the Polynesian Cultural Center, for the LDS church.  They need an artist and my family can't get there soon enough!  We are taking four children with us, ages 14-20.
