Frank A. Schubert

 (See:  March 2022 update)

My nick name is Gus (I got it from my great grandfather, August Schubert). To my family I am still Gus, but to everyone else I am Frank.

My wife and I just celebrated our 43rd anniversary.  We live in north-central Wisconsin. Our son and daughter and their families also live in Wisconsin.  My wife and I have 2 grandchildren.

After finishing at ELHS I graduated from MSU (where I lettered in fencing), and from the University of Wisconsin Law School. I have been a member of the Wisconsin Bar since 1970.  I have worked in police administration in Ohio, as a prosecutor in Wisconsin, and as a professor in Massachusetts.

I retired after 25 years of teaching as an emeritus professor at Northeastern University in Boston.  I am presently writing the 11th edition of my introduction to law textbook, and when that is finished will begin work on the 3rd edition of my introduction to criminal law text.

My wife and I like to travel, bike, hike, snowshoe and canoe - and we like to spoil our granddaughters.

I have fond memories of being an ELHS athlete and of being a member of ELsingers.

Update:  ... the 12th Edition of my Introduction to Law and the Legal System text was published in January. I have been working on this book since 1988.
