Linda MacLaren Gonzalez
I have enjoyed reading about many of you and do remember some. I moved into East Lansing as a freshman and enjoyed four years with you all. I met my husband in the halls of East Lansing High School. He was one of the "Cuban boys". Julio and I were married in 1964 and will soon be celebrating 49 years of marriage.
Through a great deal of work and sacrifice we put each other through undergraduate and graduate school. We lived in East Lansing for 14 years, moved to Miami for another 14 years and ended up in the greater Phoenix area.
Teaching has always been my passion. I have taught everything from preschool to college level methods classes.
Today I own two K-8 Charter Schools. My husband, Julio, owns an environmental consulting firm.
Together we have 2 daughters and 1 son. They have blessed us with five grandchildren.
Today we are semi-retired. Our children have taken over the business end of our lives and we "consult". Life is good!!
We have a home on the ocean on Hutchinson Island in Florida, a home in Northern AZ close to ski resorts and cooler weather, and a third home in the valley near our family. We will be there with you in spirit as you join to celebrate our class of '63 fifty years later!!!!
