Nancy Brattin McMahon Myrick
I got a BA in psychology and a Masters in Social Work, both from the U
of Michigan. While there, I married Patrick McMahon in
1968. But in 1966 and 1967 I hitchhiked through the Arab
countries, from England to India, 6 months there, Ceylon and Nepal,
with a Danish guy Claus. And stayed with him at the end of this
trip in Denmark for 10 months.
After brief (one and a half years) work in Manhattan as a social
worker, I did a training as a eurythmist and therapeutic eurythmist,
full time for 4 years then part time for a year and a half. This
became my profession.
Patrick and I have two children, Katherine, born in 1981, and Matthias,
born in 1984. Patrick and I lived for 4 years in Nuremburg,
Germany, where Katherine was born, and 6 years in Hertfordshire,
England, where Matthias was born. I have one grand daughter,
Maya, seven years old. All three of them live within an hour's
drive from me, in the Sacramento area.
Patrick and I divorced in 1992, and in 2009 I married my second and
current husband, Don Myrick. I love the therapeutic eurythmy
work, but am by now mostly retired. I still see a few clients per
month.
See you soon!
