Current life situation:
Retired from 27 yrs. of teaching in Kent Intermediate School District and Lansing School District as a teacher of homebound and hospitalized. Volunteering at Manna Food Pantry. A member of several organizations. After retirement we moved to Harbor Springs
Family History:
Married to Robert (Bob) Nolan for 37 yrs. He passed away in April 2012. No children of my own but have a step-daughter and step-grandson. I also have my best friend, Buddy, a rescue golden retriever. I should say he rescued me. Update: I lost my dog Buddy in 2020. I rescued another Golden Retriever in 2021. Her name is Tilly.
Current hobbies and interests:
I love to snowshoe, cross-country ski, bike and go to the gym for exercise. I quilt (belong to a quilting guild), am an avid reader and do a lot of traveling. In 2018, traveled out west in my motorhome. Was gone for a month and visited several national parks.
