East Lansing High School Reunion

Summary Bio for Plummer Mifflin

· Known in high school as “Ranney”.

· Army veteran, including service in Vietnam.

· Associate’s Degree – Lansing Community College (Hotel Restaurant Management).

· Bachelor’s Degree - Michigan State University (Major:  Education and Industrial Arts).

· Occupations included home builder, art gallery director, real estate, and self employment (home maintenance).

· Married since 1985 to Jeri (former school administrator in Williamston, MI, and recently retired principal from Okemos Public Schools). 

· No children or pets.

· Enjoys “working around the house and yard”, playing golf, fishing, bird hunting, cooking and entertaining, travelling, hanging out with friends, seeing old classmates.  

· Some personal notes:  I have been lucky enough to enjoy lots of fun times with Jeri, with our friends and travelling to some beautiful spots--including several trips to the Greek Islands, Alaska, Mexico, and Europe.  We are both avid golfers so our life includes many golf trips and outings.  We travelled to the Low Country of South Carolina in 1997 and fell in love with a little place off the coast of Beaufort called Fripp Island where we purchased an ocean front villa on our first trip!!  Fripp is a designated nature sanctuary with two great golf courses and lots of friendly people.  After going there for fifteen years on Jeri’s school breaks, we decided upon retirement to spend six months on Fripp (see photo of me there) and six months in Michigan, where we have a small cabin on the Pine River and a home in Okemos.   I am looking forward to reconnecting with old classmates at our reunion and hearing about what each of you has been doing since we last met!  Thank you to the committee for organizing us to be together again
