Robert wrote the following additional information in an email dated April 28, 2015: My wife of 30 years passed in November ending a long battle with cancer. She was 49 years old. I on the other hand am 70 and I have a 21 year old daughter who will finish at State in May of 2016. I am not an outgoing person. I taught high school mathematics for 19 years and in 1986 went back to state to get my B.S. in computer science. Since then I have worked for Oloffson Engineering, Michigan Dept of Transportation, Melange Computer Services and Delhi Charter Township. I was only at E. Lansing High the last year of my high school years. I didn't get to know a lot of people because I worked every day for MSU to support myself. I am telling you this so you will understand my ties to the class of 63 are not as strong as those people who went through all four years together. As I get older and now on my own I do wonder about some of the people I met in that last year of high school. |
