Family history:

Husband Robert Dixcy, daughters Bethany (’77) and Sarah (’83), two cats (as always!), two grandchildren in Portland, Oregon

After graduating from MSU in 1967, I worked for an interior design firm in Farmington, MI, for one year before moving to NYC.  Lived in Greenwich Village with my freshman/sophomore MSU roommate for 2 years while working for Rosenthal China Corporation.  Met my husband, Robert Dixcy (Psi U, MSU ’67) and married in 1970.  From the East coast, Robert’s job took us first to Columbus, Ohio (’70-’71), then to Grand Rapids, Michigan (’71-’75), back to Columbus (’75-’78) where our daughter Bethany was born, to Wheaton, Illinois (’78-’81), then to San Francisco (’81-’86) where our daughter Sarah was born, to Tulsa, Oklahoma (’86-’90), to Manchester, England (’90-’92), back to Tulsa (’92-’97) and finally back to Grand Rapids in ’97.  During all of the moving I became a constant volunteer in all of my children’s schools, taught a self-esteem class to 3rd graders in CA, operated a small interior design business from home in CA, and honed my tennis skills.

Our oldest daughter lives in Portland, OR with her husband and two children (Reagan 3 and Max 3).  She works for Blough Corporation.  We see them about twice a year and wish it were more often.  Grandparenting is great!  Our younger daughter is single and lives in East Grand Rapids.  She is a Physician Assistant with a large internal medicine practice.
