Trojan Band

The Trojan Marching Band and Wind Ensemble would strike up our anthem whenever the mighty Trojans scored a touchdown, and we'd all sing along in joy. You can hear the anthem by clicking anywhere on the band photo, above. Note there is also a sound clip of the DJ Club theme song they would play over the school PA system at the end of their morning and after-school programs. (After linking to where the sound clips are available, you need to click the triangular 'Play' button.)

Update (July 2021) - We have discovered that our 22-second clip of "We're East Lansing" came from a track entitled "ELHS Fight Song" on an album whose cover reads "Concert Time with the East Lansing High School Concert Band and Symphony Orchestra - Richard H. Snook, Director" probably recorded 1958 or 59 and issued perhaps as late as 1962. This information was provided by our classmate, the late Barry Baker. More recently, Don Clugston has found an entire Fight Song track on YouTube. It's slightly different. To hear it, click here.

Click on the above facebook logo to see the reunion

is going on now. Read comments & reply. You must
either have a facebook account or register. It's free.
But there are issues involving privacy and of course
ads - facebook has been fairly reasonable with ads.

Here you can find some information on classmates

It's free, but some links take you to sites that are not.

Following are some fun links that were posted at our facebook group page:

The above link was suggested by Doug Lindell, who got it
from Brooke (Sill) Woodman. Doug says "It's long but well
worth it...brings back lots of memories...music and cars."
